Garrett R. Husveth (New Jersey)
Garrett Husveth is a court-approved expert Forensic Examiner dealing with computers and other digital media. He is also in the process of becoming a certified Audio and Video Forensic Examiner. With a background in forensics, software development and computer systems design and security, he is currently applying the latest technologies to ghost, poltergeist, Survival and Electronic Voice Phenomena research. Mr. Husveth first began investigating paranormal phenomenon in the late 1980's and became interested in Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) and stringent scientific approaches to psychical research. He has been featured in print throughout the United States and has either appeared on or consulted for TV shows dealing with the paranormal, including The History Channel's "Haunted History" series, The Travel Channel, and FOX Networks as well as various independently produced documentaries and television stations.
Garrett Husveth is a co-founder of hauntednewjersey.com, the Northeast Regional Coordinator for the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena, and a founding member of Parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach’s prestigious Paranormal Research Organization (PROs). PROs is an invite-only organization of parapsychologists, paranormal investigators, scientists and intuitives in North America.
Garrett has conducted paranormal investigations in very well known haunted sites throughout America such as the Eastern State Penitentiary and the Lizzie Borden B&B. Garrett is most sought after for his unique technological skills as they are applied to modern day ghost, Survival and EVP research. He has personally worked on over 600 haunting and poltergeist related cases throughout North America.
Garrett recently collaborated with author Diane Ahlquist for her latest book “The Complete Idiot's Guide to Life After Death” which was released in July 2007. He is also a contributing editor of "Ghosts of Central New Jersey: Historic Haunts of the Somerset Hills," by Gordon Thomas Ward. A book on paranormal investigating based on his 21 years of field work. Garrett is highly sought after for his audio analyzing skills as well as lectures on haunting phenomena and Electronic Voice Phenomena in the New York Tri-State area.
