Audio

These two top audio clips are from The Merchant's House Museum. They were recorded on the second floor on two different recorders. One was recorded directly onto a laptop computer and the other was recorded on a regular 'ole voice recorder. What's cool about these is; we were able to hear them as they happened. Dan Tisher, Anthony Bellov of the MHM and I were on the main floor of the house, sitting and talking about calling it a night. We heard the first set of what sounded like footsteps start in the room directly above us (Mrs. Tredwell's room, where the laptop was) then walk down the hall and into the next room (Mr. Tredwell's, where the voice recorder was). So, we were able to track the "footsteps," from one room to the next and were able to catch it on our recorders.

The above clip was recorded in California by good friend Garrett Husveth during an EVP session. Listen to it a few times and then put your pointer between the two asterik's to see what Garrett and I think it sounds like.

* Thank You *

The above clip was recorded at Eastern State Penitentiary while on an investigation with Paranormal Investigation of NYC. I set up a microphone connected to my laptop in one of the original cells of the penitentiary. Hold your pointer between the two asteriks to see what we think it says.

* my house...my house...my home *

This is a great audio clip caught by good friend, Chris Fleming, while he, Garrett Husveth, Loyd Auerbach and myself were in Valencia, Ca. at a private home investigation. In a room where somebody experienced a door trying to open Chris can be heard asking, "Can you speak right now to this recorder, can you hear my voice?" Listen right after Chris is done speaking for the answer. Hold your curser between the two asterik's to see what we think is said.

* Yes, look over here *

This is a pretty good EVP we caught at The Merchant's House Museum in June of 2009. What's interesting about this EVP is that it answers a question. I cut down the entire recording to just the EVP but about 10 seconds before you hear me say, "ask a question, Sarah." Dan Tisher told whoever might be in the room to, "not be afraid." The clip is the raw audio.

* I am not afraid *

Here is another decent EVP from The Merchant's House Museum, recorded on the same night as the above clip. This was recorded in Eliza's bedroom, a room where we have had a lot of activity. During this EVP session our Natural EVF meter was going off when we would ask anybody in the room to, "stand next to the little blue box." It was the only time the Natural EMF meter would go off and anybody who uses these in paranormal investigations can tell you, they rarely respond. The EVP seems to repeat a name, you will hear it after I say, "the beautiful, Sarah Bass," Again, the first clip is the raw audio and the second clip is just the EVP boosted 15db. Hold the pointer between the asterik's to see what name we think it says.

* Sarah *
